Aker Solutions - Caustic Storage Tank Repair

The Aker Solutions Caustic Storage Tank was delaminating due to caustic contents.  Getting a replacement tank from the USA was simply going to take too long.

Eastern Composite Services repaired the fibre-reinforced plastic tank and applied a Belzona lining, to provide an internal coating that was compatible with the caustic contents.

The swift turnaround and effective repair put the tank back in service much quicker than Aker Solutions had anticipated.
